INTRODUCTIONAsahi Lifestyle Beverages (ALB) is behind some of Australia’s best-loved drink brands. With Gen AI rapidly reshaping marketing, their 30-strong team needed to understand the opportunity— fast—and identify use cases that could scale. The brief: design and run an end-to-end enablement day, combining inspiration, hands-on practice, and structured ideation— turning hype into an actionable plan.

From Sci-Fi Hype to Brand-Safe AI Awareness
Partnering with our friends at -lution, we opened with a keynote tailored to Asahi Lifestyle Beverages world - consumer marketing. In 90 minutes, we unpacked Gen AI trends, demonstrated best practice strategies built for brand safety, and showed live examples of copy and image generation across real campaign scenarios. The tone: confident, practical, and creatively grounded.

Turning Concepts Into Creative Output in Real Time
Hands-On Training
With inspiration fresh, teams dove straight into AI tools. Using ChatGPT, Firefly, and Gemini, they tackled a real marketing task: drafting a new product concept. In under an hour, they had rough copy, campaign headlines, visual directions, and alt ideas—all generated, iterated, and shared collaboratively.
Design Workshop
From Inspiration to an actionable AI Roadmap
The day ended with a structured design-thinking session. We mapped over a dozen use cases across the marketing funnel—ideation, activation, reporting—and scored each for impact and feasibility. The team aligned on a shortlist of quick wins, which can now feed directly into ALB’s broader AI Roadmap.
We designed and ran a full-day Gen AI Immersion for ALB’s entire marketing team. The experience blended brand-relevant demos, hands-on training, and structured roadmap design - resulting in 30 people trained, real campaigns prototyped, and a clear next step for operational rollout.
Based on the success of this AI immersion day, we were asked to run the same format for Asahi’s inhouse agency 1House.
