Generative AI Training

Empowering Teams Through Generative AI Training

At Time Under Tension, we've been privileged to work with some of Australia's leading companies to demystify generative AI and turn curiosity into capability. From marketing teams to IP specialists, our training programs have equipped hundreds of professionals with the skills to harness AI's potential while building confidence in their daily workflows.

Our Proven Training Methodology

Our training approach is built around three core principles: inspire, educate, and implement. We start every engagement with an Inform session that brings generative AI to life through real-world examples and industry-specific use cases. This ensures all participants are up to speed on the current AI landscape, which as you know, evolves weekly.

The magic happens in our hands-on training components. Rather than theoretical discussions, we get teams working directly with tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, and Midjourney.

Our design workshops use structured thinking exercises to identify and prioritise transformative use cases specific to each business. These sessions consistently produce AI roadmaps that guide strategic implementation across organisations.

Real-World Training Success Stories

Working with NBCUniversal's Australian Marketing division, we delivered foundational knowledge on using generative AI safely over two intensive days. Our program covered advanced prompting, asset generation for images, voice and video creation, and crucial responsible AI principles. The training included an inspiration session, followed by hands-on practice with generative AI tools, culminating in the identification of high-impact use cases across their division.

King Living's experience exemplifies our comprehensive approach. "We've had an inspiring two days learning about all things generative AI in a series of educational presentations and workshops. Thank you to the Time Under Tension team for sharing your knowledge and helping inspire our team" said Leonardo Alvarez, Chief Digital Officer. We facilitated two Inform sessions for different audiences, followed by executive workshops that generated nine prioritised AI initiatives spanning marketing, operations, and data.

G'Day Group's CMO Lahnee White summed up the value perfectly: "Time Under Tension delivered above and beyond - 100% recommended for your generative AI needs". Their Adelaide-based session combined desk-based learning with group challenges, using advanced prompting and brand-enabled cheat sheets to solve real marketing problems.

Building Confidence Through Practice

One of our most revealing insights came from our collaboration with Lution on Australia's first Generative AI Immersion Day for in-house agency teams. Through our research, we discovered that while most in-house creative professionals are excited about AI's potential, many haven't integrated these tools into their workflow.

Working in small groups with specialised coaches, participants gained direct experience that helped them understand AI as a co-pilot rather than a replacement. The results were telling: only 15% of surveyed participants expressed concerns about AI's impact on their roles. Instead, they learned that AI empowers professionals who know how to use it effectively.

Tailored Training for Every Industry

Our training programs adapt to different industries and skill levels. At Adrenalin's Strategy Event, we led a hackathon that brought together Australian and Philippine teams to explore AI's role in digital product design. "We were honoured to host the Generative AI gurus Tim O'Neill and Stephen Foxworthy from Time Under Tension, where we looked at harnessing the power of Gen AI to build digital products which drive impact for users and results for our clients".

For Griffith Hack, one of Australia's leading IP service providers, we delivered a keynote addressing the complex questions around IP protection and generative AI productivity tools. Each engagement is tailored to the specific challenges and opportunities within that industry.

From Training to Implementation

The real measure of our training success isn't just knowledge transfer but practical implementation. At Pinpoint HRM, we conducted workshops at the stunning Bangarra Dance Theatre in Walsh Bay, where 50 team members worked through design-led thinking exercises with hands-on ChatGPT usage. Our collective member Simon Hillier, who also runs generative AI courses at the University of Sydney, guided teams through creative prompting techniques.

For Asahi Lifestyle Beverages, we facilitated an AI Immersion Day for 30 marketing team members at the Carlton Football Club. Teams used AI tools to develop product innovation briefs, generate ideas, and visualise concepts, then pitched their new product ideas to the group. The day combined inspiration, training, and design thinking to create a prioritised AI roadmap for future initiatives.
