Tim O’Neill joins OpenAI to keynote at CEO Institute Connect event series
How do you turn enthusiasm for AI into better productivity? That was the practical question behind Time Under Tension founder Tim O’Neill’s keynote appearances alongside Kevin Park from OpenAI at the CEO Institute’s Connect events in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
With the theme “Unlocking Productivity”, the events brought together CEOs, business owners and senior leaders to explore how leadership, technology and the way work is organised can improve business performance.
Kevin shared how teams inside OpenAI are using AI to improve their own productivity, offering a perspective from an organisation developing the technology and applying it in its everyday work. Tim complemented that with practical examples and tips to help leaders think about how to apply generative AI in their own organisations.
For businesses considering their next step, the useful starting point is often the work itself: where people spend time on repetitive tasks, where information is difficult to find, or where a process creates unnecessary effort. These are tangible problems that teams can examine, test and measure, giving AI adoption a clearer purpose than simply encouraging everyone to use a new tool.
The combination of OpenAI’s internal experience and Time Under Tension’s practical perspective brought that question back to the decisions leaders make about their people and processes. As official OpenAI Services Partners, Time Under Tension bring a wealth of experience to this conversation.
A huge thanks to the CEO Institute and Richard Wynn for inviting Tim and Kevin to contribute to the Connect series.
