Resonate Consultants worked with Time Under Tension for all phases of Generative AI Design Sprint Zero™. The AI Design Sprint was run over two weeks and resulted in impactful outcomes for Resonate.

AI Design Sprint Zero: Week 1
Inform
The first stage of the AI Design Sprint was to prepare for an Inform Session with all of Resonate’s team and leadership. Inform Sessions provide a broad view of the generative AI landscape and awareness of some of the challenges (e.g. privacy, hallucinations, IP) and remedial actions people can take to counter them. The session uses real examples and demos (ChatGPT Plus, Midjourney, Jasper amongst many others) to help bring business cases to life and inspire to how generative AI might be used in their business.

Time Under Tension has delivered over 50 Inform Sessions to a wide range of audiences ranging from intimate executive level workshops through to keynote presentations.
Design
With Resonate Consultants now up to speed on the potential of generative AI, we facilitated a Design Workshop. The workshop was conducted remotely, using Miro, using a number of propriety tools, methods and exercises, including ChatGPT as a workshop buddy.
The outcome: The workshop achieved two key outcomes;
Creation of a backlog of generative AI ideas covering Client, Team and Individual use cases
Hands-on training with generative AI tools, through tailored exercises which use ChatGPT and other generative AI tools
Design Workshops guide participants through a range of exercises, whilst using generative AI tools as a workshop buddy
AI Design Sprint Zero: Week 2
Create
Following the Design Workshop the ideas were documented and further elaborated on by Time Under Tension. The workshop writeup includes a value / feasibility matrix, allowing Resonate to easily prioritise and identify the most suitable initiatives to progress with.
Generative AI PoC blueprint
Of the 10 generative AI use cases identified, ProposalGPT was selected as the first to be developed, due to the vast number of time spent by Resonate in manual creation of proposals. The most time consuming part of the process involves the digesting and synthesising of RFP documents, sometimes very complex in nature.
The first stage of the PoC was to create a generative AI PoC blueprint, which identifies the role generative AI (LLM) will play in the proposal writing process. As part of this we tested a number of LLM models and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods for accuracy.

Proof of Concept to MVP
With the generative AI PoC blueprint complete and an LLM model was identified, we progressed to build the the AI App, starting with a Proof of Concept and then moving swiftly on to a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The solution created automatically retrieves the documents related to each RFP, transforms them into text, and then vectorises the information.
The solution has been integrated into their document management system (Podio) giving Resonate staff a seamless experience. Using generative AI, it then sifts through a set of predefined questions, extracts the necessary answers, and updates Podio — populating fields and selecting options with remarkable speed.
The result: What once took hours to accomplish manually now unfolds in seconds, significantly streamlining Resonate’s RFP response process. This has delivered exceptional ROI to Resonate, through the time saved using the new automated proposal writing process.
